National Arts Marketing Project: Insights from the Conference Floor

AMT Lab guest contributor, Beth Geatches, recently attended the National Arts Marketing Project Conference in Memphis, Tennessee. She searched the conference floor for some of the most prevalent arts marketers of today and asked of them these three questions:

1. What is the single most important issue or challenge facing arts marketers today?

2. What is the most promising platform for arts marketing?

3. What is the most exciting part of NAMP?

Beth managed to gather opinions from the following arts professionals:

Shira Dickstein, Director of Business Development, Capacity Interactive

Erik Gensler, President, Capacity Interactive

Diane Taha, Creative Marketing Strategist, Greater Hartford Arts Council

Lura Readle-Scarpitti, Managing Editor, Old City Life Magazine & President/CEO of i360 Media

Elizabeth Kandel, Director of Marketing, Roundabout Theatre Company

Gwydion Suilebhan, Director of Brand and Marketing, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company

Jennifer Martindale, Chief of Marketing, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts
