AMT Lab on Hiatus

Hello AMT Lab Readers,

We’ve had a fantastic semester of contributor research on diverse topics ranging from Google for Nonprofits, to Museums’ efforts and challenges exhibiting New Media art. AMT Lab will be on hiatus until January 5th to celebrate the holiday season, but we have a lot of exciting plans for the new year that we wanted to quickly share with you:

In the next few months, alongside our regular research, AMT Lab will administer the 2015 National Ticketing Software Survey. This research aims to understand the attitudes and practices of organizations with ticketing software, and represents an evolution of our work in the 2011 and 2009 surveys. Watch for more information for both vendors and organizations coming soon.

We also look forward to bringing you more interesting content exploring the intersections of arts and technology. Pieces already in the works include a three-part interview with the Royal Shakespeare Company about their social media Midsummer Night’s Dreaming presentation, and a podcast interview with the Washington National Opera’s Michael Mael.

Please join in January for these pieces, as well as product reviews, case studies, interviews, and more. As always please feel free to contact us, either by emailing editor@amt-lab.org or by tweeting @techinthearts

Happy Holidays!
