“Data doesn’t Do. People do”: TRG Arts Video on the Importance of Data Stewardship (1 of 3)
Earlier this summer, TRG Arts developed a series of helpful videos that explain the importance of clean data to arts organizations. The first video narrated by TRG account manager Kevin Replinger features the concept of data stewardship, defined as “the oncoming process of maintaining data for action.” The segment emphasizes that having a state of the art CRM system alone does not always correspond to clean data collection practices, rather, a consistent manual and streamlined effort on behalf of the organization does. Watch the video below to find out:
- What orphan records are and how much additional revenue you might bring in by removing them from your data
- The most common data cleanliness problems found among arts organizations and how to solve them
- How much time TRG recommends spending on data capture and clean up practices, depending on where your organization stands.
Stay tuned next week for TRG Arts' next video, centered around how to segment and organize data.
